Gordon Winrod (December 30, 1926 – August 29, 2018) was an American Christian minister, publisher, and activist born in Wichita, Kansas. He was the son of Gerald B. Winrod, a prominent fundamentalist preacher and author active in the early 20th century.

Winrod attended Concordia Theological Seminary and pursued a career in ministry, initially serving congregations affiliated with the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in locations including San Antonio, Texas, and Little Rock, Arkansas. He later established and pastored Our Savior's Independent Christian Church (also known as Our Savior's Church) in Gainesville, Missouri, beginning in 1965. Through his church, he conducted a radio ministry, published newsletters such as The Winrod Letter, and shared teachings on faith, family, and national issues.

In the early 1960s (primarily 1961–1962), Winrod served as National Chaplain for the National States' Rights Party (NSRP), a conservative political organization dedicated to defending states' rights, resisting federal overreach, and upholding traditional American principles. In this capacity, he traveled extensively across the country to deliver sermons and speak at party rallies, combining spiritual messages with advocacy for constitutional governance and local autonomy. His role helped bridge faith-based outreach with the NSRP's political efforts, though his tenure as chaplain was relatively brief, lasting about six months to a year.

Later in life, Winrod encountered family-related legal difficulties in the 1990s and early 2000s, including a federal conviction tied to the relocation of several grandchildren, leading to a period of incarceration before his parole release in 2012. He passed away in Rutledge, Alabama, at the age of 91

Before we get to the book itself, I would to put a disclaimer that I do not agree with everything this man ever said or did, I agree with some of it and disagree with some of it. My goal in sharing this book, is to show that other people with similar ideas to me have existed. I also acknowledge that this man had many family struggles that sound almost like that of a Hatfield and McCoy blood feud. I don't know much about that drama and I am not here to judge the man. I do believe his book contains profound information. Furthermore I would to show a tract Mr. Winrod wrote that I am certainly in agreement with 100%. 

WHY DID THEY WANT JERUSALEM?

The devil has his people on this earth, who are secretly animated by him, and who are dedicated to do his bidding. The leaders of these people are actually in communication with him.

The devil's people have no relationship with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, the Prophets, or Jesus, either physically or spiritually. The devil's people are an organized Sect with a common bond and purpose. They operate secretly. Members of this Sect are of all races and nationalities. Their common bond and the tap-root of their sinister conspiracy is The Babylonian Talmud. Their Sect is the Pharisee Sect, still alive today, but cryptically so.
Their single purpose, goal and constant aim are to destroy Christianity. Everything they do, regardless how bad or good it may seem, is for that end.

The devil's people now control the money of the world. Therefore, they control the news media and politics of all nations of the world. The devil's people have New York City, Washington D.C., Moscow, Rome, London and Berlin. They have the whole world under their control. What, then, do they want with Jerusalem? Why did they have to have Jerusalem and the holy land? Some have said there is oil in the mideast and they want that oil! But they have the whole world; what is a little oil? Then, why did they want Jerusalem? Here is the answer. There are many prophecies in the Old Testament Scriptures concerning Christ's (Christian) Church, concerning the (Christian) saints; but in those prophecies - since they were written from 800 B.C. to 500 B.C., before God's saints were known as Christians - God's (Christian) saints are referred to prophetically as "Zion," "Jerusalem," "Israel," "My people," "The temple of the Lord," "Judah," "Daughter of Zion," "Jew," "The apple of His eye," etc. (from Zechariah)

Prophecies of Zechariah are concerning Christ and His Church; but the devil's people falsely claim that the devil's people are Jews and Israel. The devil's people printed and spread the Scofield notes among the best church going, nominally Christian people; and among these best people, the devil's people claimed to be Israel. The devil's people did not teach these church going nominal Christians that these prophecies of the Old Testament were prophecies concerning Christians, but the devil's crowd taught them that these prophecies were concerning Jews (which the devil's people successfully claimed to be).

Later, the devil's people (having control of New York, Washington, Moscow and the whole world) were able to force Christian and Moslem Arabs out of their homeland; and the devil's people took this land for themselves and called it "Israel, the homeland of God's Chosen People." The devil's preachers told the nominally Christian people that now prophecies of the Old Testament were being fulfilled concerning God's people, the Jews.The people believed "a lie, That they all might be damned who believed not the truth..." II Thessalonians 2:11, 12.

This is why the devil and his people had to have Jerusalem. They had to have it, so that they could make the prophecies of the Old Testament appear to be fulfilled in them (who falsely called themselves Jews). Cf. Rev. 2:9; 3:9.

Introduction 

 

The chapters of this work have been taken, largely from past monthly issues of The Winrod Letter since March, 1962, which are now no longer available.

These words present an earnest and serious effort on the part of the writer to help supply answers to questions concerning the salvation of civilization and concerning the eternal salvation of the souls of men.

When men place a high value on material things, they do not highly esteem spiritual and eternal things. They are not interested in doing so. They are not capable of doing so.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor. 2:14.

The enemies of God in this world have successfully induced men to believe that civilization is measured in terms of material accomplishments, that a nation is civilized to the extent of its scientific achievements, "cultural attainments" and material progress. This is an outright lie.

For civilization is built on righteousness and morality, not on scientific advances. And, therefore, the point to which a civilization on scientific advances has developed is in direct proportion to the level of civilization has developed is in direct proportion to the level of morality to which it has risen.

There is no innate good in man. "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God." Rom. 8:7 "...They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God."

"They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one." Psalm 14:1b-3.

There is none good. All good comes from God. "..there is none good but one, that is, God." Mark 10:18b. There is no other source of good.

The means through which God gives His good to men is His Word. I Pet. 1:23; II Tim. 3:15,16; Rom. 7:7; Psalm 119:105.

There is no good in men which does not come through the Word of God. Psalm 14:1-3, Rom. 7:7.

The only people on the earth from whom emanates the goodness of God are the people of the Book. The only people through whom God's good is shed abroad throughout the world is His people, the Christians. These are the people who have "put on Christ" Rom. 13:14, and "the righteousness of God" Rom. 1:17.

So, these are the people through whom the light of Christ and His goodness proceed and shine forth, as Peter said: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" I Peter 2:9.

Jesus said it too, when He said: "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16.

In whatever measure this righteousness and goodness of God is found anywhere on the earth, in that measure the Christians, have been there at work and their influence still remains.

The term "Christian Civilization" is a misnomer. For civilization is Christian! Without Christianity there is no civilization. To the degree that morality (and thus civilization) exists in Asia or in Africa, to that degree Christianity (civilization) exists in Old Testament pre-incarnate Christ, or of the New Testament (incarna­te Christ) has cast its influence there at one time or another.

The do-good-ism within the philosophies of the orient is nothing but the effect of the influence of God's Book and God's people (either Old Testament or New Testament Christians; cf. Heb. 11:24-26) from one time or another.

Morality has its roots in spirituality. Spirituality is attained by an individual from the learning of the Word of God and through the gracious operation of the Holy Spirit. When a man receives the forgiveness of Christ by repentance and faith, and comes to spiritual light through the Word of God, and when he puts "on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness," then he is ready to live a life unto God. Yea, he is ready to suffer death rather than do otherwise. "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." Matthew 10:39.

This righteousness of life, which is nothing but an emanation of the light of Christ, which proceeds from a regenerate man – this righteousness is what Constitutions are built on; and what Declarations of Independence are built on; and this is what civilization is built on.

If you were to remove this righteousness, goodness and morality in a moment, then you would remove the existence of civilization in a moment.

Since this is an impossibility – since it is impossible to destroy a civilization in a moment – the enemies of God and man who live on this earth, the Jews, have been dedicated to destroy it over a long period of time.

The Jews know that civilization is built on morality, whether the people who call themselves Christians know it or not!

The Jews know that to destroy civilization they must destroy morality.

To accomplish this they must destroy spirituality. This is done by successfully appealing to the five physical senses, by appealing to the carnal instincts of mankind, by appealing to the basest sinful and carnal instincts of mankind.

The ultimate goal is the eternal destruction of men's souls. In order to accomplish this the world must be enslaved and all Christians done away. There is a war on! The stakes are high. True Christians who know what is going on, realize  that civilization and eternal souls are at stake. 

For those who are truly interested in finding the answers, for those who feel it their personal responsibility to try to save civilization, for those who wish to be led to a clear grasp of the Word of God, herein lies The Key To Christian Understanding....

CHAPTER 1

 

WHY ALL THE TROUBLE IN THE WORLD?

The wars, Communism, treason, revolution, anarchy, national and international troubles of the world are the fault of the Jews! No one can prove otherwise. If a person with a reasonable amount of intelligence will search for truth in an attempt to disprove this statement, he will only prove to himself that the statement is true.

But this fact is not clearly obvious because wars, communism, treason and anarchy are schemed and plotted secretly from behind the scenes by Jews.

The final truth concerning these matters is to be found in the Holy Scriptures. For example: Who is behind the wars and bloodshed of the world? The Bible answers in three passages.

In Matthew 23:35, Jesus speaks to the Pharisees (Jews) and says: "That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel..."

Then in Revelation 17:5,6 and 18:24, Jesus speaks of the Mystery - Babylonian - Talmudic - Whore, and says: "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus:....And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth."

This Antichrist - Mystery - Babylonian - Talmudic - Jew - Whore - World-Government has come into power secretly and stealthily because the people of Christendom who so piously call themselves "Christians," know little or nothing about the Bible!

It is safe to say that there is not one out of a thousand so-called Christians who cannot be cornered in a five minute Bible discussion by one who knows and understands the Bible. Almost every time, the naive so-called Christian will hastily admit that he knows little or nothing about the Bible, lest his ignorance be soon found out and he then stand in utter embarrassment. The safe way out is to admit ignorance of the Bible and then quickly change the subject.

Almost all so-called Christians in America today are in the same state of ignorance. Nearly all must confess: "I do not know much about the Bible."

The average so-called Christian has been going to church all his life, but he must admit that he knows nearly nothing about the Bible!! Now comes the question.

If a man has been going to a "Christian" church for 20, 30 or 40 years, and he must admit: "I do not know much about the Bible," then, what in the world has his preacher been preaching and teaching him for the past 20, 30 or 40 years?

If a man has been a faithful church-goer for half a lifetime and he is compelled to admit ignorance about the Bible, then from what book, pray tell, has his preacher been preaching for half a lifetime?

Every so-called Christian preacher and every so-called Christian layman should be confronted with this question now. For here lies the reason for the ignorance of the so-called Christians who know nothing about the world Antichrist of Jewry which has so mysteriously "taken over" the world in which we live.

Here is the root answer to the question: "Why all the trouble in the world?"

"His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.  Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.  Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant." Isaiah 56:10-12.

"For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered." Jer. 10:21.

"Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people: Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them:..." Jer. 23:1,2. Compare also: Ez. 22:23-31; 34; Zech. 11:17; Matthew 7:15-23; I John 4:1.

Chapter 2

KEY TO UNDERSTANDING

 

"You cannot understand the Scriptures until you understand the Jew." This is a statement made by a great Bible student of our time. It is true.

It might even be said that this understanding is a Key To Holy Scripture.

The word "Jew" does not mean the same thing everywhere in the Bible. An understanding of this simple fact is a requisite to understanding of the Bible. One place in the Scripture the word Jew means one thing; another place in the Scripture the word Jew means one thing; another place it may mean the opposite.

By way of illustration, let us take a look at several possible usages and meanings of the word "Jew."

First, the word Jew is used in defining religionists of the devil.

In John 8:41 the Jews claim that they believe in God the Father. But Jesus answered them in the negative. He said that if they were of the true God, that they would love Him, because He was God and He came from the Father. He said: "If God were your Father..." That "If" simply says that God is not their father. Then in verse 44, Jesus says: "Ye are of your father the devil." They claimed that their father was God. Jesus said that their father was the devil. And, the devil is "the god of this world." II Cor. 4:4. The word Jew in this context has reference to the religionists of the devil, the religionists of the god of this world.

In John 9:22 we read about some people who "feared the Jews." Again, the word Jew has reference to the religionists of Satan.

.In I Thess. 2:14,15 we read that the "Jews...killed the Lord Jesus.." (This certainly has no reference to a race of people.) Again the word has reference to the religionists of the devil, the devil's people.

Many other places, particularly in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles (also in the Book of Esther) you will find the word has reference (not to God's people) to the religionists of the devil.

Another place in the Scriptures you will find the word Jew where it has reference to the opposite, to God's people.

In Romans 2:29 we read: "..he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

In this same connection, we read in Colossians 2:11: "In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ..." (The next verses are beautiful in relation to this idea.)

And, also in this same connection we read in Galatians 3:29: "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

He is a true Jew which is one inwardly, who believes in the Old Testament Scriptures, who believes in whom Abraham, Jacob, David, Daniel and Malachi believed. They all believed in the same Lord in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ and the redeeming blood of Christ and the cleansing blood back in faith. They looked forward to the Lord Christ who was to come: Jesus. They looked forward to the cross of Christ and the redemptive merits of Christ, by faith—as we look back in faith. "For by grace are ye saved, through faith..." He is a true Jew who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, just as we are God's true people, by faith.

This is what Paul is talking about in Romans 2:29; Col. 2:11; and Gal. 3:29.

This is what John is talking about when he uses the word Jew in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9. There John speaks of those "who say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

It is at once obvious that the word "Jew" is used to speak of those people whose god is the devil. Then, on the other hand, it is used as a reversal, and opposite... where it speaks of those whose God is Jesus Christ.

The first group which we have discussed are not Jews. They just call themselves "Jew." That means that they are not Jews. This is what Paul calls them in Titus, chapter one. He calls them "liars." In Revelation 2:9 they are called the synagogue of Satan. They are not Jews. "They do lie." They are not God's people. They are the devil's people.

They are not Jews. They are Talmudists. They follow after the Talmud which is the "traditions" which Christ condemned so violently in Matthew 15. By these "traditions" (Talmudic traditions) Jesus said that they have made the Word of God of none effect. These traditions are the opposite of God. They are of the devil. Everything they are of the devil.

Everything that God condemns in the Old Testament is made moral in the devil's religion, the traditions of men laid down in the Babylonian Talmud. God condemns incest, sodomy, adultery, cheating, lying, stealing, and murdering in His Holy Religion of the Holy Scriptures.

But in the devil's religion as laid down in the Talmud, all these things are made moral. Incest, sodomy, adultery, lying, cheating, stealing and murdering... in the devil's religion (the Talmudic religion) these are nice, moral, good, wholesome and very religious.

So there is a difference. The difference is so great that it is the difference of a complete opposite, complete reversal.

When you see or hear the word "Jew," therefore, you must ask: what does this word "Jew" mean? Does it refer to the devil's religion or to God's religion?

Or does it refer to a nation?

In Romans 10:12 we read: "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek..." In this instance the word "Jew" does not have reference to either the religion of the devil on the one hand, or to the religion of God on the other hand does it mean, then? 

It can only have, here, a national connotation. 

How significant it is that in our time such a simple understanding is not at all general in Christendom. 

It is even considered in some quarters that these people who are of the religion of the devil, who are called Jews-that they are God's people! Whereas Christians who are the true Jews (Romans 2:29; See also I Peter 2:9) are left out of the picture completely (as though they were the devil's people).  

The Christians are God's people, the true Jews. The Talmudists who call themselves Jews are the devil's people. This is what Jesus meant when He said to them: "Ye are of your father the devil." The opposite is what Paul meant when he said to Christians. "Ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." (Gal 3:26) And this is what Peter meant when he said to Christians: "Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:9

Chapter 3

PROPHECIES CONCERNING 

TWO RELIGIONS

During the centuries from Adam to Christ there were many believers in the true religion of the true God. This religion was the true religion of the Messiah (Christ) who was to come.

These Old Testament believers made up the true Church of the true God. Exemplary are such time-honored names as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and other prophets.

All these and many more throughout the era prior to the Word's advent in the flesh (John 1), believed in the Christ who was to come. He came and was known as Jesus Christ. They were, in the truest sense of the word: Christians. We would refer to them as Old Testament Believers or Old Testament Christians.

There is only one Church, one true church of God. That is the Church of Jesus Christ, made up of all believers in the Savior who came to die for men's sins, that by faith in Him they might have life.

This Church had its beginning with the first faith in the first promise of the Savior as early as Genesis 3:15.

This same Church ran through the centuries to Christ's time and has continued to this present time, and will continue until the end.

However, while this Christian church has continued down through the centuries, perversions of the true religion of God took form. These perversions had taken definite formulation as early as several hundred years before the days of Jesus. There were those men 400 years before Christ who were holding up evil and calling it good; who were pawning off evil under the cloak of God's Word. They were promoting the devil's wickedness, but they were doing it with God's Word, and were saying that God said that those evils were all right. 

In short, they were "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" and were "making the Word of God of none effect by their traditions." (Matthew 15:6,9) This was a "mystery of iniquity" and lawlessness. It was evolving into an organized religion with written traditions-and what was so bad was that it was disguising itself (hypocritically-Luje 12:1) as the religion of the true God. 

Therefore, when the fullness of time was come, Jesus came.

When He came, that which had been the religion of the true God had been turned into the religion of the devil. Old Testament Christianity had become the instrument of the devil. And it was organized! The doctrines of the devil had even been written down as explanations of Scripture.

It was the religion of Pharisaism (or Judaism). It was no longer Old Testament Christianity at all. When Christ came, there were few persons of the remnant who had not subscribed to this religion of the devil. Examples of some who had not: Mary, Joseph, Matthew, John the Baptist, Elizabeth, Zacharias.

Christ revived His own religion. He breathed new life into many because He restored truth. Many followed Him, and later many became true Christians. These New Testament Christians believed, and still believe today, in whom the Old Testament Christians believed, in the same Christ.

And now, after more than 2,000 years, the traditions of the devil, Pharisaism still lives. The perversions which were a reversal of God's Word still exist. St. Paul referred to it in his work: "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work" (II Thessalonians 2:7). John spoke of it when he said: "...it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists...He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." 1 John 2:18, 22

There was organized iniquity, which was mysterious in that it could not come forth and conquer openly so early as 1,900 years ago.

But the prophecy was made that the time will come when this mystery of iniquity will have grown in such magnitude that it will cause a falling away from Christ and Christianity. When that falling away reaches its climax, then this lawlessness, this mystery of iniquity, will quickly be stripped of its mystery. Then it will be revealed and seen clearly in all its naked wickedness. And when this time comes, this iniquity will usher in its leader who will exalt himself and pose as the true Christ. It will not be the return of Christ, however, but the ascendancy of Antichrist.

There are two religions. One of God—the other of the devil. One of the true God—the other of the "god of this world." Both of these religions, however, claim to be of the true God. One is true; the other is false. One is Christianity; the other is Judaism. One worketh righteousness; the other lawlessness and the mystery of iniquity. One is based on Holy Scripture; the other on the Babylonian Talmud.

But when the falling away from true Christianity has reached the point that Christians will allow the identification of Christianity with Judaism, then so-called Christians will be ready to accept the "Christ" of Judaism which will be the Antichrist. Many will be deceived.

When the falling away from true Christianity has come to the point where "Christians" permit their teachers and preachers to promote the evil lie that Judaism and Christianity have the same common denominator—then shall the "Christians" be ready and willing to accept the False Christ, the Antichrist.

Then the mystery of iniquity shall be revealed, and the Antichrist shall declare himself ruler of the universe. Here will be the climax of one-world-antichrist-Jew government.

And finally, then, the true Christ will come and declare Himself; and He will consume the Antichrist and the devil with the fiery breath of His judgment.

Following are some prophecies from divergent sources showing how this was to come about and is today happening before our very eyes.

There have been prophecies of autos, airplanes, three great wars, revolution, anarchy, world government, antichrist, Christ, world population, eternal life and heaven. These prophecies are most significant in our time.

1. "As for Israel,...greatest atrocity in history. ...We, a supposedly Christian nation, were the first to acknowledge and approve of the consummation of that unparalleled tragedy. It helped the Administration of that day politically at home; but it established definitely a situation that will lead to World War III."

— General George Van Horn Moseley in 1955.

2. "And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle... And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails, ...fire, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three plagues was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails they were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt."

3. "The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings."

4. "Carriages without horses shall go And accidents fill the world with woe. In the air men shall be seen with woe. In the air, in black and green In white, in black and green..."

5. "Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communist revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Working men of all countries, unite!"
— The Jew Karl Marx in 1848 A.D.

CHAPTER 4

JEWS ARE NOT A RACE-(A)

If anyone talks to you about a "Jewish Race" you should

simply tell him that neither is there such a thing presently in existence, nor has there ever been such a thing presently in existence, nor has there ever been such a thing in existence. There is not now, and there never was, such a thing as a Jewish Race. This is the greatest fabrication in the history of mankind. If anyone tells you that there is a Jewish Race or that there ever has been a Jewish Race, then ask him to prove it from Scripture. He cannot!

Some say: "Abraham was a Jew." This is preposterous. This is not true. The Bible does not say so. Others say: "Moses and David were Jews." This is utter
nonsense. It cannot be supported by Scripture. One cannot understand the Scriptures until he understands the Jew. The word Jew is used in three different ways in the Scriptures, as follows:

1. It has reference to the people of the devil. John 8:44;
I Thess. 2:14-16; Titus 1:10-14; John 7:13; 9:22; 19:38.

2. It has reference, also the opposite, that is, to the
religion of the people of the true God, Christians. Romans 2:29.

3. It is also used in speaking about a people of a particular
nation (which was destroyed in 70 A.D.). Rom. 10:12.

In a deep study of Scripture, it will be found that nowhere
does the word Jew appear where it either speaks about a
Jewish Race, or carries with it a racial connotation.

There is ample reason for this fact. To ascertain this reason we must go back into history and ask: Where did the word Jew come from?

Let us go back to the time of Moses and Joshua. Moses had led the children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage. They proceeded eastward, across the Red Sea on dry land (Exodus 14:21,22). This exodus from Egypt took place about 1,500 years before Christ. The children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Deut. 2:7; 8:2.

About 1,450 B.C. Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan. The Israelites took Jericho and the land of Canaan. (Joshua 6 ff.) From that time down to about 1,000 B.C. was the period of the Judges, when the people were governed by judges which were appointed over the land. (See the Book of Judges.)

When they had become dissatisfied with the judges and when they had seen other nations around them with kings, they decided that they wanted a king. Samuel was the last judge. King Saul was the first king. The story of the end of the period of the judges and the beginning of the period of the kings is recorded in the next Books of the Bible, I & II Samuel, I & II Kings, and I & II Chronicles. The period of time covered in these Books of the Bible extends from about 1,100 B.C. down to 536 B.C., the time of the return from the Babylonian Captivity.

When we look for the first appearance in history of the word Jew, we must look into this period of the Kings.

There were only three kings who ruled over all of Israel. They were Saul, David and Solomon. They ruled from about 1,100 B.C. to 1,000 B.C. The kingdom became powerful, large and rich. It was known as the Kingdom of Israel. The word Jew was not even in existence at this time.

In about 975 B.C. the great Kingdom of Israel was divided.

Now, when the Israelites had settled the land of Canaan in about 1,450 B.C. they had settled it according to tribes (each tribe after the names of the sons of Jacob, such as Dan, Gad, Asher, Judah, Benjamin, etc. Numbers 1; Joshua 13-21.

When the Kingdom of Israel was divided (in about 975 B.C.) into two parts, it became two separate kingdoms. The Southern Kingdom, which encompassed the areas belonging to the tribes of Benjamin and Judah, became known as the Kingdom of Judah.

The Northern Kingdom, embracing the entire area belonging to the other ten tribes, became known as the Kingdom of Israel.

The Northern Kingdom was Israel. The Southern Kingdom was Judah. The people of the Southern Kingdom became known by another name, therefore, rather than by the name of Israel. They became known as Jews.

So, the first mention of the word Jew is found in this period of the divided kingdom (two kingdoms), and is recorded in the Books which speak of this period. The first reference to JEWS is recorded in II Kings 16:6. The next reference is in II Kings 25:25. The first reference to the Jews was in about the year 750 B.C.

The first reference to the word Jew was in speaking of those people who were of the Southern Kingdom, the Kingdom of Judah.

The word "Jews" was used to speak of a people who were from a certain locale, from a particular nation...(as we are Americans).

There was absolutely no racial aspect involved at all. How could there have been anything racial about the word "Jews" when the people of the Southern Kingdom (Judah) were both Benjaminites and Judahites who had intermarried with the Canaanites, etc. (Compare Deut. 7:1-3 where God commanded the destruction of the Canaanites, etc., with Judges 3:5-7 where we are told that the Israelites did not destroy the Canaanites but married them instead.)

The Benjaminites and Judahites had married with the Canaanites several centuries before the Kingdom of Judah became a distinct nation. This mongrel people became known as "Jews." They were known as Jews, not because they were Canaanitish-Judahites or Canaanitish-Benjaminites, but because they were people who lived in this area known as Judah.

(Had the Southern Kingdom – the Benjamin-Judah area – been called the Kingdom of Benjamin rather than the Kingdom of Judah, then the people of that nation would have been called "Bens" instead of "Jews".)

Therefore, the word Jew from the beginning (II Kings 16:6) has had never the slightest racial connotation. It was a word depicting a particular nation. The word Jew was a national concept.

Later it came into Scriptural usage as referring also to those who had the Scriptures and claimed to believe in the true God. In this manner the word Jew took on the additional religious and spiritual meanings.

Paul uses the word Jew in Romans 2:29 when he speaks of a people who believe in the true God and His Son Jesus Christ our Savior for the forgiveness of sins. (See Col. 2:11; Phil. 3:3)

Other places the word Jew is used to speak of those people who claimed that they believed in the true God and the Word of God, but did not. These hypocrites believed in the "traditions of men." These are the people of whom Christ speaks in Matthew 15:6,9, and of whom Paul speaks in Titus 1, and of whom Jude speaks throughout his epistle.

The word "Jew" is not in any sense of the term racial. In Esther 8:17 we read that as early as 2,400 years ago: "...many people of the land became Jews ...they did not become Jews by having nasal operations or blood transfusions, but by taking the religion of the devil, Judaism (Pharisaism)."

The Negro saloon entertainer, Sammy Davis, Jr. did not become a Jew by having his blood changed, his skin bleached, or by having an operation on his nose. He took the devil's religion, Judaism. See Gal. 1:13,14.

One more important fact: There are people, even many well-intentioned preachers, who will try to convince you that "Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were Jews." Anybody who makes such a statement  knows not whereof he speaks. St. Paul spoke well of such people when he said in the last days many people would be "Ever learning, and never able to come to knowledge of the truth." II Tim 3:7

The word Jew came from the nation called Judah. The word was not coined until 750 B.C.

There are those who might try to tell you that Jacob, the father of Judah, was a Jew. But the word Jew came from the word Judah. How, then, could Jacob have been a Jew?

The word Jew came from Judah. How, then, could one call Abraham, the great-grandfather of Judah, a Jew? What ignorance is this!?! Then, why not call Adam a Jew?

You might as well demand that Adam be called an American, because you are an American and a child of Adam! (Certainly there is no difference except in point of time.)

God does not choose and save His children by blood-line anymore, but by faith. "For by grace are ye saved, through faith." Eph. 2:8

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself." Eph. 1:3-5.

CHAPTER 4

JEWS ARE NOT A RACE-(B)

Among the many Jewish sports, the one great favorite is to confuse the "goyim," (the Jew dirty word for Christians). One of America's leading Jews recently expressed his happiness over the fact that today "there is less discrimination between Spanish, Jews, Irish, Negroes and Italians."

What a confusing remark! The unthinking citizen, not understanding what he has heard, will repeat this Jewish phrase. Then, the Jew, who thrives, will repeat this Jewish phrase. Then, the Jew, who thrives on confusion and gains his victories through deceit, wins again.

Let us take a look at what the Jew has done when he has stirred together into the same boiling caldron, the three words: Jew, Negro and Spanish.

There is a gross dissimilarity between these three completely diverse terms, Negro, Spanish, Jew.

Negro is a word used to describe a black or dark skinned people. The word Negro has a racial connotation.

Spanish is a word used to describe a people who live in the geographical confines of Spain and whose mother country is Spain. The word Spanish has a national connotation.

For a student of religion the word Jew is used to describe the people who believe in the teachings of The Babylonian Talmud. The word Jew has a religious connotation.

There is, for the clear thinking person, quite some difference between a race, a nation, and a religion.

 

There are white Jews, red Jews, black Jews, and yellow Jews, Chinese Jews, French Jews, Indian Jews, Italian Jews, and American Jews; just as there are white Christians, red Christians, black Christians, and yellow Christians, Chinese Christians, black Christians and yellow Christians, Chinese Christians, French Christians, Indian Christians, Italian Christians and American Christians.

The Jews have deceived an entire world of people into believing that Jews deceived are a race of Shemites...in order that anyone, therefore, who speaks against the Jews may be labeled "anti-shemitic" or anti-semite," by the Jews.

By making people believe that Jews are a race, the Jews are able to convince the mob that if a "goy" speaks against a Jew, then the "goy" is against a race.

It is for this reason that the clergymen of Christendom do not join hands in a common Christian war against the antichrist Jews. Nor will these clergymen fight the Jews until they become cognizant of the simple fact that Jews are not a race, but a religious sect only.

The word Jew should not be confused with Negro or Spanish. The word Jew should be used in opposition to Christian. This is the only honest, real and true issue. It is the issue of antichrist versus Christ. It is the issue of evil versus good, the devil versus God, and the children of the devil versus the children of God. Jews are children of the devil because they follow the Satanism of Judaism; whereas, Christians are the children of God by faith in the redeeming blood and saving merits of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We do not speak of a Buddhist race, a Mohammedan race, a Fetish race or a Christian race. We do not speak of a Buddhist nationality, a Mohammedan nationality, a Fetish nationality, or a Christian nationality.
